What is a stacked storage battery

Laminated battery, also known as battery stack, is a combination of multiple batteries to achieve high voltage output. It is used for B power supply of vacuum tube radio and electronic flash lamp for photography.
In order to obtain high voltage, a plurality of batteries are connected in series within the stack battery. However, each internal battery is very small and has small capacity (silver oxide battery, alkaline manganese dioxide battery and lithium battery have large capacity). Many of the laminated batteries are used in combination with ordinary dry batteries, so they can be removed and replaced. However, the manufacturer cannot guarantee to remove the batteries, because doing so will bring risks. As an example of the general use of dry batteries, there are many 006P batteries combined with six single type 6 batteries. If the voltage can be divided by 9, such as 45 volts, the 006P battery can be very expensive.
Broadly speaking, lithium batteries 2CR5 and CR2P, nickel cadmium/nickel metal hydride batteries, high-voltage lithium secondary batteries and automotive batteries used in cameras are also laminated batteries.
