In most off grid photovoltaic systems, the voltage and current generated by photovoltaic cell (solar panel) array arrangement cannot be completely consistent with the load (electrical appliance). Especially when the natural conditions change and the light intensity changes in cloudy, rainy and evening days, the photovoltaic cells cannot supply the full load of energy, which results in difficulties for the normal use of electrical appliances (loads). With the battery to store energy and regulate its energy metabolism, the photovoltaic system is equipped with energy storage devices, which can supply the electrical appliances with the required electrical energy stably and satisfactorily. Therefore, it is very necessary to use storage battery to store energy for photovoltaic system.
The power battery is the power source that supplies power to the east and the west. It mostly refers to the battery that supplies power to electric cars, electric trains, electric bicycles and golf carts. It is mainly different from the starting battery used for car engine starting. Valve sealed lead-acid batteries, open tubular lead-acid batteries and lithium iron phosphate batteries are commonly used.
